FAQ

Q: Did Jack make this website by hand?
A: Darn tootin'!

Q: What time should I arrive at the barn?
A: The party starts at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served from 6:00 to 8:00.

Q: What's the dress code? How fancy do I need to be?
A: Dress however you are comfortable! The ceremony will be outdoors in the woods, so wear something which you will be comfortable in during a stroll in the forest. No white dresses.

Q: Do you have a registry?
A: Yes, but not a traditional one. We have links to several suggested charities in the Registry tab, but feel free to donate to any charity of your choice. You can also donate to our honeymoon fund (linked in the bottom of the registry page), but charity is highly recommended.

Q: Can I bring a +1?
A: Please RSVP only for guests explicitly mentioned in the form.

Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: We are having an adults only wedding (with the bridal party as the only exception).

Q: Where can I stay overnight?
A: We have a block of rooms at the Hilton 20 minutes from the ceremony location. You can get a room at a discounted rate using This Link.

Q: What if I have allergies or other dietary restrictions?
A: There is a section in the RSVP form you can fill in to make us aware. The caterers will accomodate to the best of their abilities.

Q: Can I use rideshare at your wedding?
A: Duvall unfortunately does not have much of an Uber/Lyft presence. It's not unheard of, but you should plan for something else.

Q: Where do I park on the day of the ceremony?
A: There is ample parking at the reception venue at Novelty Hill Farm.

Q: Is there an open bar?
A: We will have some alcoholic (beer/wine) and some non-alcoholic options available.

Q: Can I take photos at the wedding?
A: We do have two professional photographers, so you can just enjoy the party! Feel free to take as many photos as you want, but don't feel pressured.

Q: Will there be a vaccination requirement?
A: Yes. No one will be officially checking vaccine cards, but we trust you all to keep each other safe.

Q: What gives with this 'elopement' business, anyway?
A: We were in love, a little stressed, and tired of being almost married. We did take a video to capture the moment which we'll be more than happy to share!

Q: I have more questions, who can I ask?
A: Please contact the bride and/or groom privately.
